Sports |
Most traditional sports of Sonas are outside sports, often in the nature. This is because of the climate being 80% of the time sunny, people always wanted to be outside with nature. There have been studies with the outcome showing how being with nature decreases the chance of anxiety and depression. Sunlight is a natural source of Vitamin D, and having lots prevents cancer, obesity, hormonal problems etc.

Music & Clothing |
Sonas doesn’t have specific factors in the traditional music as they are all different types, because of the many religions in Sonas. This is the same for Sonas traditional clothing. Clothing worn on a daily basis in Sonas is very casual and similar for everyone. This shows that there are no distinct different communities and everyone is equal. It is the same casual clothing worn as in the rest of Europe, but all religious clothing are welcomed.

Languages |
The main languages in Sonas are English and Thai, but there are many more. Once again this is from the variations of religion in Sonas. The reason the majority of the population speaks English and the second most spoken language in Sonas is Thai. This is because Sonas was previously firstly civilized by Thailand and then by England. As there are many cultures and nationalities in Sonas, the majority of the population is at least bilingual. The national anthem of Sonas is in English, but has a few Thai verses. The national anthem is sung by officials of Sonas on the national day, an officials funeral or on important historic dates for Sonas.

National Day and Holidays |
The national day is the 20th of July, which is the day Sonas became independent from the English. The national day of Sonas is a public holiday in the country. It also benefits the government as this is during the holidays which means it is good for the economy.
Sonas has the same public holidays as Singapore, as the religions present in both countries are similar. As for big holidays, for example Christmas, the 24th, 25th and 26th of December are public holidays. |
